James designed our pool and our back and front gardens and did an amazing job. The pool had to be fitted into quite a tight backyard and he came up with an incredible design that has people constantly commenting on not only the look but also the clever use of space. We absolutely adore it. When it came to the garden design James was a patient (I'm indecisive) and deeply knowledgable source and the end results are low maintenance green spaces that we just love. Balwyn (/ˈbɔːlwən/) is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 10 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District. Its local government area is the City of Boroondara. At the 2016 Census, Balwyn had a population of 13,312.

Whitehorse Road runs east-west along the ridgeline through the centre of Balwyn. Balwyn Road runs north-south from Koonung Creek Reserve (adjacent to the Eastern Freeway) to Canterbury Road.

The southwestern part of Balwyn was excised as the suburb of Deepdene in 2010.
